FOMO Events (formerly FOMO Rewards and IVEA Rewards) sends service text messages for one purpose: sending the one-time codes that verify your phone number and keep your account secure. This page documents exactly how our messaging program works, how you opt in, and the messages you can expect to receive.
Program at a glance: This is a one-time-passcode (OTP) / account-verification program only. It is not a marketing or recurring subscription program. You receive a code only when you ask to sign in or verify your number. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time.
Personal invitations from your device
The app also lets members prepare individual invitations to friends. These are personal messages sent through the member’s own messaging app, separate from the FOMO verification-code program described below. FOMO does not upload your address book or send these invitations automatically. You select recipients, review or edit each message, and confirm every send in your messaging app. You may enter contact details manually, cancel a message or leave without sending. If SMS is unavailable, the app can open your device’s share sheet so you can choose another app. Your provider handles delivery and its message and data rates may apply. An invitation may include the sender’s referral code; sending it does not confirm a signup.
How you opt in
You opt in inside the FOMO Events mobile app (opt-in type: via website / in-app). When you create your account or sign in, you enter your own mobile phone number and tap Continue to request a verification code. The consent language shown on that screen is:
Messages we send
All messages are sent from our toll-free number +1 (888) 869-1696. The existing verification program uses the FOMO Rewards name in its messages. Below are the exact templates.

Your privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with anyone. Your phone number is used only to send verification codes and operate your account, as described in our Privacy Policy.
